Don't touch. Don't look. Don't think.

Two amazing weekends in a row. First my birthday :) On Friday I went to Sunset Cantina with a bunch of friends. I got a HUGE piece of ice cream cake! It was so delicious. Then on Saturday (my actual birthday) I just hung out during the day, then went to Audobon for dinner and drinks. Yes, I was really cool and went to the place that is right next door to my apartment. Again, we had a good time, but I didn't get to crazy since I had to wake up early for Sargent Camp the next day.

This weekend was spent at parties - including my own. Well not just mine. On Saturday Dominique and I celebrated our marriage on facebook. We had a cheesy party, but it was a great time!

Now I'm telling myself that I can't go out until October! I'm so excited to go to LA for Columbus day! Yay for not having class on Monday! Yay for getting a job today! I'm going to be a research assistant at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. I will be calling people for a study about Asthma. Working 20 hours/wk will be pretty hard, but I can do it! They might be getting another research assistant, so my hours would drop to 15. Fine by me. Anyway, I think it's going to be really great especially since I need to start getting experience in my "field." Scary, right? Senior year. Holy crap. It's been awesome so far! Except for the bat Dominique found in my box fan. That's right. A bat. Like the kind that look like a bird and have FANGS and RABIES! Luckily it was dead and the exterminator took it away. Still, it was freaky. We have no idea how it got it, and I feel bad for Dominique for finding it. Otherwise the new apt. has been good to us. We still have to hang up posters, but it's cool. I like being able to cook for myself - even though I still have a lot to learn. I have definitely been spending less time on campus. I feel more like an adult. I also feel like I'm going to hate going to the grocery store in the winter. Whatevs. I'll survive.

So yeah, that's about it. I have to go read now. Ok great.

Together We're Invincible.

Oh my gatos it's almost been a month since I last posted! I've been doing lots of fun things like camping on an island for 2 nights! Well we actually went to two different islands in the Boston Harbor. The first night we stayed at Lovells Island. It used to be a fort during the World Wars, but never saw action. Our campsite was right by the beach! Jake and I were brave and swam in the cold water, but it felt great! Also, the island is full of giant rabbits. Apparently they have no natural predator on the island so they grow to be huge - almost the size of a small dog. Unfortunately they were too quick for my camera, so I don't have any pictures.

The second night we stayed on Grape Island. This island was amazing! It has always been privately owned, so it's full of trees and underbrush. The trails are just mowed little paths. On this island, we were not so pleasantly greeted by two skunks and a fox. They didn't actually bother us, but it was surprising to see them!

Last week Stacy visited me in Boston! It was her first trip out here, and she came with her boyfriend, Elliot, who has been here several times. We went to cool places including the MFA and the Mapparium at the Christian Science Center. We also walked from MIT to Harvard, and that' was a little longer than we were expecting, but it was a cool walk.

Since then I've actually been a little sick. I had a little cold and that turned into an ear infection, but I'm ok now! I can't believe that I only have two weeks in Boston left! Then it's back to MPLS for about 10 days then to Wisconsin with Jake for a few days before classes start again. This has definitely been one of the best summers EVER! I've done so many fun things and visited so many cool places around New England. Dominique and I actually spent the afternoon wandering around the South End. That was cool, especially since we may end up going to school around there after graduation this Spring. CRAZY! GRADUATION. Oh boy. That's a big deal. At least I still have time before that happens. It's going to be another interesting and fun year.

And now back to the job/internship search....

I love fireworks!

The fourth was amazing! Most of the day was spent walking around and just hanging out with Jake. We watched the fireworks on the Charles directly across from where they were being lit. So it was pretty much the most amazing thing ever! The fireworks were so good! Two of them were fireworks I have never seen before. One looked like jelly fish! Instead of exploding and falling down, they exploded and went upward. It was awesome! Then the other new kind were part of another firework, but they didn't die out quickly. Also, they looked like strings of Christmas lights with 10 or 20 little "lights" in a row. They were also very cool. Overall it was an excellent 4th of July - my favorite holiday :)

Last weekend Jake and I went to a resort in New Hampshire because Jake got invited to one of those "come watch our presentation and we will try to force you to buy a product that you don't want, but you get 4 free air fares" things. The presentation was pretty ridiculous, but we spent the rest of the day driving and hiking around New Hampshire. We found a waterfall! It was the coolest waterfall. It had different levels, and it went in different directions. Pretty much the coolest thing ever. Not to be confused with the place where we sat for fireworks on the 4th which was the most AMAZING thing ever. Anyway, I bought a bike yesterday! It's all pretty and blue. I like it a lot, but the seat kinda hurts my butt. EEEWW! haha. I think I just have to get used to it. I'm worried that it will get stolen but I got a super duper heavy duty lock. It's pretty hard core - like me when I ride my bike through Kenmore Sq. Lol. It is kinda scary though. Alas I am still alive and have a new bike and a helmet :) YAY!

Peace and cookies.

Banana banana.

I'm going to make banana bread one of these days. I have all the ingredients, but I'm waiting for some bananas to go bad. I love banana bread for several reasons. 1) It tastes so good 2) It reminds me of home and goodness 3) You are using something that would normally be seen as waste, and you are making it into something delicious! 4) I like saying banana bread :)

Anyway, last weekend I was in Oregon for Austin's graduation! I had so much fun! It was great to see the family. We had fun playing games and exploring part of OR. I did miss my friends and Jake very much, though. It's good to be back in Boston again. Work is getting crazy. I'm really not enjoying the ridiculous hours, but it's so nice to get a free apartment. I'm still learning how to cook, but I'm working on it...

I'm so happy I don't even know whats going on :)

The new best day of my life.

This weekend I moved into the new summer apartment! It's fantastic :) I have a huge room, the bathroom and kitchen are nice, and the roomies are all cool. YAY! I still need to get some more things for the apartment, but so far things are fantastic. I planted some strawberry seeds, so I really hope they grow. Also, Jake got me a guitar, so now I'm learning and becoming a rock star. That's about all for now. Oh yeah, and I love Joe, KC, and Nick because they all visited me at work on Saturday night!

Besos y giggles.

The Blue Hills.

Best Memorial Day weekend ever! I had so much fun and saw lots of friends. I'm so happy I got to spend time with everyone. It was fantastic!

On Sunday morning Jake and I began an adventure to the Blue Hills, which are just south of Boston. The plan was to take the T, then the bus, then the shuttle bus. Everything started out good after we made a quick stop at Shaw's. Anyway, we took the red line to Ashmont, took the bus to Mattapan, then found out the shuttle bus to the hills doesn't run on Sundays. My determination led us to take a 3-mile cab ride to the entrance. It took about 30 mins to actually find a cab, but the T-Mobile man helped us out. So that wasn't bad. About a 10 dollar cab ride, it could have been worse. So we hiked around for 4 hours or so and were ready to get back to the T. We called the cab company and asked for a cab. After telling them the address about 50 times they finally realized where we were and said a cab should be there in 10 mins. After 15 mins we got a call saying they were having a hard time finding a cab to pick us up. So I started to get a little worried, and we talked about walking back or trying to find a ride. The entrance to the park was already closed so there were about 4 cars in the parking lot. I didn't think the walk would be that bad, but Jake did it once and said it was miserable. In the parking lot, a few families walked by and I was too scared to ask for a ride. Then after waiting for a while a really nice looking couple came out of a trail and started walking toward their car. Jake and I decided we needed to just ask if they were going in that direction because we were sure a cab was not coming to get us. Jake politely asked them if they were going toward Mattapan Sq. The dude said, "Yeah, just tell me where you need to go." We were so grateful! They ended up being really nice, and as we were thanking them a million times and chatting, the guy said he lives right next to the Ashmont T stop and could just take us there. He also told us we could use his bathroom or get a drink of water at his house! He was very nice, but we just went to the T stop. Luckily we made it back safely and had a great time hanging out with friends later that night!

To press or beat into a pulp or a flat mass.

Thanks Webster for the fantastic definition of squash.

KC and I had an awesome conversation about squash while we were eating lunch the other day. I found out that KC loves summer squash! She also enjoys a good butternut squash; however, butternut squash is something they do not serve in North Carolina, where KC's parents live. This is disappointing to her. BUT they do have Acorn squash in NC! We agreed acorn squash is like heaven for dinner because it's dessert before dessert. Apparently KC got a little excited from all this talk of squash, because she drooled. Not just a little bit, but a lot. I was kind of embarrassed to be sitting with her, but it was ok. I don't think anyone saw. Haha I'm just kidding, it was only a little bit of drool and it was pretty sexy ;)

Clever rhymes, see ya later.

Ohmygoodnesswhyiseverythinginwarpspeed? Let's see here. I'm done with finals, and this was my best semester at BU! Yay! Finals are over and summer is starting. Living in the freshman dorm, Warren Towers, won't be as bad as I expected. At least I'm surrounded by friends. Kasey is my new roommate! Things will be different, but still good. Dom, I love you and will miss you, but we have the fall to look forward to! Can't wait for our apartment :) My first impression of the new job is far from impressive. Last week I had to set up and take down rooms in Warren for Alumni and parents visiting for graduation. It was not fun. The people are cool though, so that is good. We have training this week and next week. Who knows when I will actually start the job I was hired for? I'm not bitter, really. Anyway, I'm sure everything will be good once it all gets started. Plus, I am not opposed to free housing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Kasey and I end up with good people in our apartment (if we have to share it...)

Murphie Lloyd is my new stuffed animal, and I love him! TANGENT: I'm listening to my headphones through my computer for the first time, and the bass is crazy. A little much, but still awesome. Anyway, Muphie is a little brown puppy with white paws and a tan spot on his back. He's really soft and cute. Jake did a good job of picking him out ;)

I saw Shrek 3 last night! So cute!

I like how I started this blog to tell funny stories so people would laugh, and it has definitely turned into the place where I update people on my life. Well kinda. I like to think that people want to read about what's going on in my life, but who knows if anybody actually reads this. If you do, let me know so I don't feel like this is pointless. Even though it is. Oh well!

Smiling is my favorite! Georgia you need to call me now so I can hear about Spain!

Writing skills need some improvement, but whatevs....I'll work on it or something.

yellow and pink gerber daisies are my favorite.

The past few weeks have been amazing! Last friday was boat cruise. I'm happy everything went smoothly. I think everybody had a good time. This weekend has been exhausting but amazing! Friday night was pretty much the best date ever! Saturday Nick and I were in the Mr and Miss BU competition as Mr and Miss Sargent. We didn't end up winning, but it was still a great time. Today was the MS walk, and I'm really happy we all did it again.

So here's a funny story for you:
One night Dominique was getting ready to go out but couldn't find her ID. This is our conversation:

Dom: Crap, I can't find my ID.

Me: Oh, your Mexican ID...I mean your Texas ID?

Yeah, the conversation ended by me apologizing over and over. Don't know what I was thinking or where that came from, but I didn't mean to be a jerk! Promise! It was funny though and luckily I have the best roommate ever and she knows that I was just out of it...

My fiancee is the best :)

You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

Junior year is almost over. What the L? It's crazy how fast time moves. Oh well, it's been a very good year! Definitely the best in Boston so far. I'm pretty sure I have the greatest friends ever, and I heart them mucho!

This past weekend was fantastic! I thought about my family a lot, and I realized how much I miss them. I got a text message from my Dad that almost made me cry. Keeping in contact is not his strongest attribute and it's been hard for me to not hold that against him. But, I think he's great and wish that I would have spent more time with him in HS. Yesterday I found out that my cousin is having a baby girl in August! They are so excited and I'm very happy for her. Today my mom called to tell me that she was going to the Twins game with Chris tonight! Too bad they lost. Stupid Yankees! Oh well, we'll get them tomorrow and the next day. I wish I was going to be in MPLS this summer so I could go to games, but I'm so excited to be in Boston with everybody. I can't believe Austin is graduating in June! Holy crap! It's going to be awesome to see everybody and to meet his girlfriend who sounds amazing. Anyway, my family is pretty much the coolest - esp my little brother ;)

Mmmuah!

Make this go on forever.

Snow Patrol is amazing. I love them. Dominique and I had the pleasure of going to see them at Agganis on Wednesday. The show was fantastic. I love Gary's voice. This show was definitely more chill than some previous shows for me and Dom. I normally don't notice lighting (because it usually sucks) but they had some cool lighting going on. I was impressed. This picture was taking during my favorite song by them. Ok Go opened and they were very fun and entertaining of course. For those of you who don't know Ok Go, please visit this Website:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv5zWaTEVkI You will be amazed and want to go running or something...yeah. Just watch it.

This weekend was also fantastic. Friday night was so much fun with Dominique and Lindsay. We need to hang out more!! You are so fun. Also, Saturday was a good time. A bunch of us girls had dinner at Anthem - a really cool restaurant that reminded me of Bellanote in Minneapolis. Then we went to the Cactus Club and had some fun drinks. Abbey and Rachel are my favorite!

I feel like I need to have more funny stories to tell. I will think of some good ones. I am just not feeling like describing things because I have a 10-20 page paper due Thursday! Yikes. I'm just starting and it's midnight on Sunday. I'm not worried though because the topic of the paper is interesting to me. Also, it's only the first draft that is due. Anyway, back to writing! I need to actually get some work done since I've been a little distracted the past two weeks. Oh well, it's definitely a good distraction ;)

Mmmmuuuaahhh!

I'm addicted to the way I feel when I think of you.

YAY! Dominique is 21! I love you, roomie :)

New York was awesome. I had a very fun bus ride ;)
Stacy, you are so much fun. I loved it! Also, I got to see a friend from HS who is one of the coolest girls I know. Way to be a dancer AND Swedish! The city was amazing of course. Eliott and his friends are great. Love the new glasses and scarf. Rachel, I'm sorry I asked to eat your soggy parts. They just looked so good. I'm talking about your french fries of course.

No class tomorrow! HolleR!

Spring Break!

Last weekend my mom was here for Saturday night and Sunday morning. On Sunday we went to brunch with 12 of my friends. So we were sitting at a long table and two friends walk in, Geno and Jeff, and as my mom stands up to meet them her chair falls over. Not a big deal. We all have a very nice brunch. The orange juice was amazing, everybody had a good time, and the Eastern Standard was awesome. After the meal we all stand up to go and my mom's chair falls over backwards again, and then I stand up and my chair falls over, too! Of all 14 people we were the only two who knocked our chairs over. It was amazing. Now you all know that I am pretty much the same person as my mom.

This weekend was the start of spring break and it has been fabulous! Dom's friend Cat was here, and she's a lot of fun. On Friday night and Saturday night we went to the hockey games, which BU won! SWEEETT! On Saturday morning Dom, Wes, and I moved into Ricky's apartment. Cat was still here and Austin V. also joined us. All I have to say is FIESTA (we're the shit). Also, Wes, Ricky, Austin and I were wrestling and I beat them all! Austin was on the bottom, then Wes, then Ricky, and I was on top because I am cool and clearly very strong. Woot!

Tonight Dom and I went to Avalon to see Relient K! They were so great. They played every song I wanted to hear. Their new songs are really good! Also, they played all the good old stuff, too. Like Sadie Hawkins Dance, Which to Bury Us or the Hatchet?, and Be My Escape. Sherwood was the first opening band. They were also really good. The guy who plays keyboard was hilarious! He kept jumping up and down and reminded me of a fish. Also, he had really cool blonde, curly hair. The next band was Mae. I was disappointed. They were ok, but not that great. Anyway, it was a great show overall and I got a wicked awesome t-shirt (see above).

That's all for now. Mmmmmuuuaaahhh!

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

-W. H. Auden

This poem always makes me cry, but it is a good poem for today. Rhiannon's funeral was this afternoon. I know her family and close friends must be going through so much pain. It's amazing how much love somebody can give to others, and Rhiannon was a great example to everybody. She always had a great smile. It was wonderful to hear people talk about how great she was, and it was an awesome experience to have so many people together to remember.

I'm a little more than useless.

So today, I finally got a lot of work done. I was doing research for my Social and Behavioral Sciences and Public Health class and stumbled upon the blog of the CEO of Beth Israel (if you're from Boston you know this is a big time hospital, and you might also know this is where I go for my allergy shots). It was awesome to read. He posts really interesting information, and there was a really good post with funny e-mails he has received. Anyway, it's really cool and makes me really happy to be in the SPH! Yay!

Unexpected.

Never thought something like this would happen.

Everybody loves you Rhi and we'll miss you.

Hot men are hot!

I seem to be running into a lot of hot men this weekend. It has been fun. It all started on Friday night at 7/11. As I'm walking out of the store, this guy tells me I have amazing eyes. That was pretty sweet. Then Dom, KC, and I are riding a superly packed T, so I say "Good thing I took a shower today!" because I am pretty much standing on the guy behind me. Eventually he starts chatting with me, but Dom, KC, and I get off the T after a minute so it's kinda awkward. Anyway, the rest of that night was fun hanging out with the girls and seeing some old friends from Towers.

On Saturday I'm walking to work at the TTC for the America East track championships (btw, congrats to BU!!!), and this guy is jogging behind me. While he passes me he totally checks me out and says "gorgeous!" then keeps jogging and turning around every few steps to look at me. I just laughed to myself. Then while I'm working this guy walks through the door and looks at me (I'm standing right by the door because I'm the ticket taker) and says "you have beautiful eyes." I think he's a little sketchy because 1) he's with his wife and daughter and 2) he is trying to get in with the tickets from the previous day. So I tell him that he can purchase his tickets for today at the ticket window. Coooool man. I do not accept flattery! So moving on. That night I signed up to work at the friends of hockey lounge at the hockey game. The friends lounge is for all the people who donate lots of money to the team and for the parents of current players. They get the special perks aka free drinks and snacks. So I'm just checking people off the list and two men walk up. So I just greet them like normal then ask for the last name, and one dude says "Eruzione." Of course his name is on the list and I let them in. The next man in line says "That's Mike Eruzione, do you know who that is?" And of course I'm an idiot and don't know. So he tells me that Mike Eruzione was the Capitan of the miracle on ice team. Yup, I'm an idiot and didn't know that! Anyway, a bunch of other people come in, and let me just tell you that the MacArthur's are a very good looking family. I've known that Pete is a hot dude, but holy crap his brother is amazingly gorgeous! Also, I don't remember if it was the Gilroy's or the Weston's that were also very attractive. In any case, it was a good time working and admiring all the hot men who are hot!

It's always nice to have a boost of confidence, and this weekend was awesome for me! I definitely needed some extra attention because lately I haven't been so happy with my dating situation. I don't know what it is, but I honestly don't know how to flirt with people, especially boys that I actually like! I think I just get nervous and start thinking too much. It's really frustrating when you really like somebody but are scared to show your feelings. And I really don't like how it's now ok for girls to make the first move. Even though some girls are good at this, I am not. I feel like guys are lazy and expect girls to show interest first. Really? You want me to do that? Do you remember that I'm incredibly shy? Call me traditional, but I think guys should be the ones to ask the girl out. It doesn't even have to be all awkward like "Do you want to go to dinner with me on Friday?" Obviously, that is the goal, but you can be smooth and say something like "You're really cool. We should hang out on Friday and get to know each other better." It's all about how you ask. On AIM = not cool. On the phone = awesome. And yes Ricky, maybe I'm just setting myself up to be disappointed, but I think guys can step it up. Girls like being chased not being hinted at and expected to make the first move.

It bothers me that I think about guys and dating, but I think it's natural to want to be with somebody. Especially since I'm a girl AND all my cousins my age are either married or are in a serious relationship. I don't really think I should be that worried though. I'm only 20 and have only been single for like six months. It's not like I'm completely obsessed with having a boyfriend, but it would be nice to have somebody who appreciates me and not just my beautiful eyes. No, I'm not conceited, just used to hearing people tell me I have beautiful, pretty, or amazing eyes. I just want a guy who is original and actually tries to get to know me. Maybe I should be like Georgia and go for the men 7 or 8 years older than me ;) Or I could just stop thinking about it! Ok great.

Into a place where peace can search me out.

I have two exams, one assignment, and one paper thesis and title due this week. So I'm a little stressed. Also, this big event my class has been planning all year happens in three weeks. We still have a bunch of work to do for that, and I really want it to go well. At least my mom will be here!!! I'm so excited to see her :) Then the next weekend is spring break! I'm staying in Boston this year. Dominique and I are going to see Relient K that Monday and I couldn't be happier to see them. AND Dominique turns 21 over break!!! Whoo hoo. Unfortunately, I will be in New York. That is good and bad. Bad because I won't get to see Dom, but wicked sweet because I get to see Stacy from IA! and I get to meet her bf for the first time. So that's all folks. Not a lot going on. Just planning on cool things happening soon, but for now its time for school. Btw, I think BU School of Public Health (BUSPH) is fantastic! On Thursday nights my 2.5 hour class is basically like a talk show and fun activities. It's awesome, and it makes me feel smart sometimes. Anyway, peace out brah.

I stepped on a banana. I didn't even fall!

Keep me hanging on so contagiously.

Last night was amazing! Dominique and I went to the Incubus show at Avalon. Best concert ever. Ben Kenney is my new crush. He's so good! And he wore really cool shoes last night - they were blue suede shoes. Holler. Anyway, the funny part happened before the concert. For some reason Dom and I always go to McDonald's before a show. Ok, yeah. Gross. Take a second to absorb that - I am icky and occasionally eat at McDonald's....

Ok, moving on. So we were the only people in line and walked right up to order. I went first and this is what I said," I want a quarter cheese, no, double cheese, no, quarter double, no, cheese quarter, AH!" I couldn't spit it out! I was trying to read and speak at the same time and it did not work out. I could not put the words in the correct order and then say the word "pounder." It's just such a funny word to say. So the lady taking the order just smiled at me like I was the biggest idiot in the world - which at the time was true because I couldn't speak! I started cracking up and Dominique had to order for me. Luckily she can speak and also read my mind, so I got what I wanted after being a crazy fool and crying and laughing and falling over at the same time. I eventually pulled it together and went to the most amazing show ever! We were at the very front on the left side with a perfect view of Benny boo boo boo. I heart him and his bass skills and stunning physique.

Buenas noches mis amores!

Keep your head up. The colors are beautiful.

Anthony, thank you for being born 21 years ago. Seriously, this was a great weekend! Here are the words/phrases that sum up the weekend: apollo, the border, 69, pancho villia, superman aka the king, jimmy, wind (dominique knows), snow (for KC), cowboy hats, frosting on CHOCOLATE cake, i would marry you if..., water glasses, terrier tailgate, blame michelle, and the mafia (sort of). This makes no sense I'm sure, but don't worry. If you were there you know. Someday I will be more descriptive and clear so you can all Enjoy.

Also, I hope you are finding classes not too difficult and are enjoying life wherever you may be.

Mmmmmuah!

For Serious.

Sometimes something happens that makes you question people you thought you knew and trusted and you question yourself also. This is not fun. Trust is a crazy thing and I feel bad for those who misuse trust. For some reason I can't NOT trust people. Even when red flags are all over the place. Yup still totally trust. Well not completely... However, this trust misuse can never lead to anything good, so will you please stop? K thanks. I do not like when you pretend. Pretend is only fun in kindergarten when it doesn't mean anything real. Real things are not meant to be fake. Why doesn't this make sense to you? Surreptitiousness isn't so easy, is it? Covering up and hiding doesn't go away, so good luck with that.
I don't not love the devious, shrewd, or evasive. (I used a thesaurus.)
Maybe someday I will learn my lesson, but I do not want to become cynical. So maybe someday other people will not be so evil. Yay! for optimism. Please find some because your heart needs some happiness.

Ok, enough. People make me upset sometimes. It would help if you, good sport, would bring me some candy. My favorite is sour patch kids. My second favorites are snickers, twix, and starburst. Third, Swedish fish.

I promise the next post will make you laugh or smile. Well, I will do my best. :)

We all have something that digs at us.

I'm so excited! I get to see Incubus in a week! Good job, Dominique. HolleR.

Anyway, so something very exciting happened to me yesterday. Well it kinda happened. Ok, it was a dream. I dreamed I was with my cousin and another girl who was my cousin's friend. We were traveling somewhere with my Uncle and my Dad and brother, Austin. Apparently the guys had some business to take care of so they dropped us off outside this apartment building that resembled a nursing home in my hometown. It was very strange. Anyway, so while we are waiting, my cousin realizes this building is where the guy she is in love with lives. She wants to go in and see him, but for some reason no guests are allowed in the building and she can't call him to tell him to let her inside. So her friend persuades her to break in to go live with him and ditch our family. I got so upset and was yelling and crying and telling her to not waste her life on some stupid guy who was totally not worth it. But she didn't listen to me and broke into the building. So then I said, "Well fine. I'm going to Wal Mart."

Dreams are funny and so are people on Newbury Street. The other day I went shopping with my friend Tyler and as we walked into the Puma store this guy yelled, " What do you do to get a girl like that? Are you a rapper or somethin'?" Keep in mind, Tyler is a white boy from New Jersey who wears polo shirts. I don't know which one of us he was complimenting, but it made me laugh.

Into the ocean end it all.

Winter break was great. Saw my friends and family and the puppy. I love my cousins and mario cart and japanese card games. Work people are great but strange and awkward at times. I got to drive! Yay! My brother is the best. Thanks for being so great. Glad I got to hang out with you on New Year's. End of the beginning is just beginning times two. Crazy, right? Only 2.5 more years then real life sets in. Kinda scared, but I love my grad (and undergrad) school. BU is mostly great and needs more confidence. This semester will be a <3 fantastic semester. I think and really really hope! Good stories to come.....

Enjoy.
