Last week I was sick, and it was not fun. Dominique and I were talking about the kleenex in our room. We agreed it was not very high quality, and Dom said she wouldn't mind paying a little extra for nice kleenex because red noses are not pretty. This was my response "Well tomorrow we can go throw down at CVS for nice kleenex." Throw down? Am I really gangsteR now? According to urbandictionary.com the definition of "throw down" is:
to fight; beat up; get whooped.
And this is the example:
julie: me and dis hoe bout to throw it down afta school, you comin through?
friend: fo sho i am comin that hoes bout to get whooped!!
There was another more appropriate definition:
To contribute to the purchase of something.
